The Bridge Luncheon

Research indicates an alarming trend revealing that a record number of students will leave the faith as they enter college. However, there is also positive research that points to ways that churches are ministering, resulting in students
Bridge Home Pageremaining in the body of Christ. LifeWay® Research and Fuller Theological Seminary confirm that there is a common thread between serving and staying in the church. Children and students who serve tend to discover their purpose and have “sticky faith.”
There is a movement internationally recognizing the need to disciple and equip children and students at a younger age before they move into the student ministry. We are excited to share that there is an answer to end the exodus, but it requires change on our part as the local church.
We wish to invite you to The Bridge Luncheon on September 28, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Wedgwood Baptist Church. You will hear special guest Dr. Richard Ross, Professor of Student Ministry, and Dr. Clint May, Founder and President of L.I.T. Ministries, share their hearts for students and their passion to disciple and release children and students in ministry.
