Children Don't Need Our Permission to Speak for Christ
Chaylee stood before about 50 children and parents at the “See You At The Pole Rally” at Peaster Elementary School. She shared a clear presentation of the Gospel. Chaylee is part of the teaching team at Willow Park Baptist Church. She takes part in weekly training and regularly teaches at the church. She plans on starting a Bible study at her school this October. Jennifer Smith and Cari Hill are her teachers/equippers at the church. With children who are trained and released at church, we regularly see them become emboldened with the Gospel in the world.

“The pastors are very glad to receive wonderful teaching from you. All of them said that this was our
first time to hear such teaching. Many agreed with you that we ignore the children in the ministry in our churches. Thank you for opening their eyes to see how valuable they are and how useful they can be. We can reach them with the Gospel, make disciples, and equip them to do the same in the churches.”
Thirty pastors took part in the training event. We are needing to print training materials for future training events. The cost is $5.00/handbook. We need to raise $1,000 to cover this cost.

Fearless Mission Trip Report
Another L.I.T. Mission Trip is in the books! This was my 30th mission trip, and I can’t wait until next year to expand our reach even further. We had 121 missionaries in attendance and more than 40 professions of faith during the trip. Here are a few testimonies from this summer’s trip:

"FEARLESS" L.I.T. MISSION TRIP
Years ago when I served on staff at Wedgwood Baptist Church, there were banners at each exit door with the verse, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Jude and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). At the time, I did not think about how that applied to children. I first witnessed kids being empowered by the Holy Spirit in 2004 on my first L.I.T. mission trip. From that day forward, I started videotaping and documenting what I observed. Here are a few testimonies from fifth graders of the Holy Spirit’s amazing work in the lives of preteens from multiple churches:
“When I went up to share my testimony today, I was scared stiff. I was saying, ‘Oh God, oh God, please help me.’ I said something, and I don't have any idea what I said, but God moved in a powerful way.” (Jordan, 11 years old)
