The Holy Spirit Speaks Through Kids-March 2022 Newsletter

Clint MayThe Holy Spirit Speaks Through Kids by Dr. Clint May

Way back in 2004, I witnessed for the first time the work of the Holy Spirit in an 11-year-old boy’s life. He told me that he felt something like fire going through him when he was sharing the Gospel. From that point on, I began videotaping and documenting stories and testimonies. We now have hundreds of hours of testimonies on video from the last 18 years. What has amazed me is how the Holy Spirit works through children. We have observed this more times on mission trips as this is where they have been allowed to minister using their spiritual gifts. There tends to be a consistent pattern in how the Spirit speaks through them. They feel scared or nervous, they ask the Lord to help them speak, and then their mind seems to stop, pause, or go blank. At that point, the Holy Spirit speaks through them. They are surprised yet overjoyed that God has spoken through them. Afterwards, children have frequently commented, “I don’t remember a word I said.” I love it! The Holy Spirit does not need our permission to speak through a child. They are ready and willing. They cry out to the Lord many times in fear, and He does the rest. He takes over, and He speaks directly through them.

MasterSharing God’s Amazing Work

I have been working on a book for several years now. Thank you for your many prayers. I was originally writing it using the outline from our training handbook. That has all changed now. The Lord woke me up one evening, and for more than three hours, He flooded my mind with stories and testimonies of what I have observed throughout the past 20 years. Needless to say, He completely changed the direction of my book. I just finished the book last week and now it is in the final editing stages. I am forever grateful for Amy McMullin. She has been working with me and L.I.T. for more than 18 years now and is such a blessing. The name of my book is Going Deep: Inviting Children into the Spiritual Depths with God. The book is filled with numerous stories and personal observations of the Lord working in and through the lives of preteens and students. I truly believe it will be a blessing and an eye-opener for the many who will read it. Please keep Amy in your prayers as she finalizes the book.

International Training

The Lord is opening many doors internationally. We are humbled and blessed so much by what He is doing. Doors are opening in India, Kenya, Botswana, and now Pakistan.

Thank you always for your prayers and support and for standing in the gap for L.I.T. We could not do it without you.

Blessings,

Dr. Clint May, President, L.I.T. Ministries

TrainingExpanding our Reach to India

On March 1-2, we led training in India from Willow Park, Texas. The training was from 9:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m. here, which was 9:00 a.m.–12:00 noon in India. There were 465 pastors and leaders who attended the two-day training. It was such a joy to share the vision of L.I.T. in order to reach children with the Gospel and disciple, equip, and release them for ministry in the church and as young missionaries in the world for Christ. We have three more upcoming training dates: March 29-30, April 19-20, and May 10-11.
