The Training Has Changed Our Ministry

Tanya in Western Zambia attended the Empowering The Next Generation Conference. She shared, "The training has changed our ministry. Our ministry is no longer like it was before we were trained. Each time I meet with my kids, I have children who can stand on their own now because of what they have learned and been allowed to do in the church. I have children who pray and intercede for other children. We have children who are becoming leaders who can teach other children."

We Made It Through the Winter Storm by Dr. Clint May

As I write this newsletter, we just went through one of the coldest weeks in Texas in my lifetime. I am not sure about you, but I no longer like the cold! When I was in my teens, I wore shorts and a t-shirt in sub-zero weather just like I did in the heat of the summer, and it didn't bother me one bit. Now I can't get enough clothes on to keep warm. Last week was crazy here in Texas. We had weather at our home office with below zero temperatures. This cold weather lasted for at least five days, and many people lost both power (heat) and water, had to boil water where available, and dealt with burst pipes and flooding in their homes. By God's grace, we did not lose anything. Life brings so many hardships against us, but Christ holds dominion over all creation, and He is not surprised by our circumstances. My favorite story out of the New Testament is when Jesus and His disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee. Jesus was so tired that He went to sleep in the front of the boat. As He slept, a large storm came up. The wind and the waves were terrifying to the disciples. At the point when they thought they were about to lose their lives, they woke Jesus up and said, "Master, save us." Jesus immediately stood up and rebuked the wind and the waves. The disciples looked at each other and said, "What kind of man is this that even the wind and the waves obey Him?" JESUS! He is Lord over all creation and the sustainer of all things. It is my greatest joy to serve the risen Savior, and no matter what we face in life and ministry, He is on the throne in control of everything.  

The Lord is opening many new doors of opportunities to meet with several international ministry leaders this month. We need wisdom on how to support and contribute to the Gospel work in many countries. It is becoming a joy to sit back and watch the Lord open new doors. We covet your prayers. I will be sharing in the months to come what the Lord is doing through L.I.T. and your partnership with us. I will be sharing more details next month on how you might invest in the Gospel internationally.

Empowering The Next Generation Leadership Training Conferences

We have begun our registration for the 2021 Empowering The Next Generation Training Conference, March 29-31.  This year's conference will be held in Willow Park, Texas. Many leaders this year will join us online for the conference.

Fearless Mission Trip Update

Praise the Lord! We have more than 130 people signed up for our mission trip in Atoka, Oklahoma. Last month Clint traveled to Atoka, Oklahoma to speak. God opened doors for us to take our mission trip there. First Baptist Church in Atoka will be hosting this year's mission trip. Please be in prayer as we move forward with our planning.
